In 2023, Johnson & Johnson executed a strategic spin-off of its consumer health division into a new, independent public company called Kenvue Inc. Consequently, Motrin is now owned and marketed by Kenvue. Manufacturing occurs in multiple locations globally, including facilities in the United States and Belgium, often utilizing a network of third-party suppliers for active pharmaceutical ingredients.
