Audi Q6 e-tron

The Audi Q6 e-tron is a luxury battery-electric crossover SUV that represents a significant milestone for the German automaker Audi. Launched in late 2023, it is the first production model based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which was co-developed with Porsche. This platform serves as the technological foundation for the brand's future electric vehicle lineup.

Manufacturing for the Q6 e-tron is centered at Audi's global headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. This facility was extensively modernized to support high-volume electric vehicle production, including the establishment of a dedicated battery assembly plant on-site. For the Chinese market, the vehicle is produced in Changchun through the Audi-FAW NEV Company joint venture. Key components, such as the electric motors, are manufactured at Audi's powertrain facility in Győr, Hungary, which is the largest engine plant in the world.
