bonÀrea Agrupa, originally founded as the Cooperativa Avícola de Guissona in 1959, is a major Spanish agri-food group headquartered in Guissona, Catalonia. The brand was formerly known under the 'Área Guissona' name until 2002, when it transitioned to the 'bonÀrea' brand identity to consolidate its diverse range of products and services. The group is unique for its total vertical integration, managing the entire production cycle 'from field to table.'

Manufacturing and processing primarily take place at their massive 'La Closa' industrial complex in Guissona (Lleida), though the group has expanded with a second major food center in Épila (Zaragoza). Most of the raw materials, including meat and crops, come from the thousands of farmers and ranchers who are members of the cooperative. The group also operates its own network of supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants, primarily across Catalonia and Aragon.
