Henglein Pizzateig

Henglein is a prominent German food brand specializing in chilled doughs and potato-based convenience products. The company was founded in 1936 by Johann Henglein in Wassermungenau, Bavaria, originally as a transport business for agricultural products before pivoting to food production under Hans Henglein and later Norbert Henglein.

The product is manufactured in Germany at one of the company's two primary production sites: Wassermungenau (Bavaria) or Klosterhäseler (Saxony-Anhalt), the latter of which specifically focuses on chilled bakery doughs like pizza and puff pastry. Despite being a major international player with exports to over 25 countries, Henglein remains a family-owned enterprise led by the third generation of the Henglein family, maintaining its reputation for products that 'taste like homemade'.
