Cuétara is one of the most iconic Spanish biscuit brands, founded in 1935 by the brothers Juan and Florencio Gómez Cuétara. The brand quickly became a staple in Spanish households, known for popular products like Maria cookies and Campurrianas.

Over the decades, Cuétara expanded its reach across the Iberian Peninsula and into Latin American markets. Today, the brand is owned by Adam Foods, a major Spanish food group that emerged from the split of the former Nutrexpa group. Manufacturing continues to be centered in Spain, specifically in Villarejo de Salvanés, though the company maintains a significant production and distribution presence internationally.
