Innocent drinks was founded in 1999 by three friends in London, United Kingdom, after they tested their smoothie recipes at a music festival. The brand quickly became an iconic British success story, known for its playful marketing and commitment to sustainability and charity, donating 10% of its profits to good causes.

While the brand started as an independent startup, it began a partnership with The Coca-Cola Company in 2009. Over several years, Coca-Cola increased its stake until it became the ultimate owner of the brand. Today, Innocent operates as a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Europe, maintaining its headquarters in London while utilizing a massive, sustainable carbon-neutral manufacturing facility in the Netherlands known as 'The Blender' to serve the European market.
