Hepsiburada e-commerce platform

Hepsiburada is Turkey's leading e-commerce platform, often referred to as the 'Amazon of Turkey.' Founded in 1998 by Kaan Dönmez and later developed under the leadership of Hanzade Doğan Boyner within Doğan Online, the company officially launched its current brand identity in 2000. It has grown from a direct sales model to a massive multi-category marketplace serving millions of customers.

Headquartered in Istanbul, the company operates a massive smart operations center in Gebze, which is one of the largest in the region. In 2021, Hepsiburada made history by becoming the first Turkish company to be listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange. While it remains a quintessentially Turkish brand in terms of operations and origins, its ownership structure evolved significantly in late 2024 and early 2025 when Kaspi.kz, a leading Kazakhstani fintech and e-commerce giant, acquired a controlling stake (approximately 65.4%) in the company. Today, Hepsiburada continues to dominate the Turkish retail landscape through its integrated ecosystem, which includes HepsiJet (logistics), HepsiPay (fintech), and HepsiLojistik (fulfillment).
