Läkerol is an iconic Swedish brand of sugar-free pastilles, first introduced by Adolf Ahlgren in 1909. The name is derived from the Swedish word 'läka' (to heal), reflecting its origins as a soothing throat lozenge. The brand's signature 'A' imprint on its pastilles remains a tribute to its founder and a symbol of quality.

Historically manufactured in Gävle, Sweden, production was moved in 2014 following the closure of the local factory by its owner, Cloetta. Today, the majority of Läkerol products, including the Dents range, are produced in Cloetta's modern facility in Levice, Slovakia. The brand is now a staple in the Nordic confectionery market and is exported to over 50 countries worldwide.
