Pfanner Icetee

Icetee (often stylized as IceTea) is a signature product line of the Austrian beverage company Pfanner. The brand is particularly well-known for its wide variety of flavors, including peach, lemon, and green tea, and its distinctive 2-liter carton packaging with a screw cap, which it pioneered in the early 1980s.

The product is manufactured across several locations in Europe to support its massive export market. While the brand originates from Lauterach, Austria, manufacturing takes place in plants located in Enns (Austria), Hamburg (Germany), Policoro (Italy), and Bar (Ukraine). Pfanner is one of the largest fruit processors in Europe, and its iced tea is a market leader in countries like Germany and Italy.

Ownership of the brand remains independent and traditional. Since its founding in 1856, Hermann Pfanner Getränke GmbH has been a family-owned enterprise. As of 2026, it continues to be owned and managed jointly by the Pfanner, Schneider, and Dietrich families, maintaining its status as one of the last major independent family businesses in the European beverage industry.
