Milka Pralines Du bist mein Held

Milka is one of Europe's most recognizable chocolate brands, originally established in Switzerland in 1901 by the chocolatier Philippe Suchard. The brand name itself is a portmanteau of the German words for its primary ingredients: Milch (milk) and Kakao (cocoa). While it has Swiss heritage, Milka has been produced in Lörrach, Germany, since its inception, and this location remains its largest and most iconic production hub.

Today, Milka is a global brand under the ownership of Mondelez International, a major American multinational confectionery company. The 'Du bist mein Held' (You are my hero) packaging is part of a gift-oriented line of pralines, often filled with smooth Alpine milk cream. While the primary factory is in Germany, Mondelez operates several other production facilities across Europe, including sites in Austria, Bulgaria, and Poland, to supply different regional markets.
