Pavesi Gocciole Chocolate biscuits

Gocciole Pavesi are among Italy's most iconic and popular breakfast biscuits, famous for their distinctive drop shape and generous chocolate chips. Originally launched in 1987 as part of the 'Amici del Mattino' (Friends of the Morning) line, Gocciole eventually became a standalone brand in 1998 due to its immense commercial success.

The product is manufactured by Pavesi, a historic Italian bakery company founded by Mario Pavesi in Novara in 1937. Today, production is carried out in several major Italian facilities, including factories in Castiglione delle Stiviere, Melfi, and Novara.

Since 1992, the Pavesi brand has been a core part of the Barilla Group, a world-leading Italian food company headquartered in Parma. Barilla acquired the brand following its privatization from the state-owned SME group. Under Barilla's ownership, Gocciole has maintained its status as a market leader in the Italian biscuit sector, consistently ranking as one of the top-selling shortbread cookies in the country.
