Arabia Moomin mug Night Sailing

The product is the 'Night Sailing' Moomin mug, a limited edition piece released in 2010 by the Finnish brand Arabia to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Moomins. The illustration, designed by Tove Slotte, is based on original artwork by Tove Jansson from the novel Finn Family Moomintroll and the comic strip Moomin and the Sea. It features Moominpappa and other family members on a sailing boat under a starry night sky.

Arabia is one of Finland's oldest and most iconic design brands, founded in 1873. While the brand originated in Helsinki, production at the historic Arabia factory in Finland ceased in 2016. Today, Arabia products are manufactured by a network of partner contract manufacturers, primarily located in Thailand and Romania, to maintain high quality and ethical standards.
