Lätta is a well-known brand of low-fat margarine and vegetable-based spreads, particularly popular in Northern Europe. The brand name itself is derived from the Swedish word 'lätt', meaning 'light', reflecting its original marketing as a healthier, lower-fat alternative to traditional butter.

Originally launched by Unilever in Sweden in the 1980s, the brand's production was historically located in Helsingborg, Sweden. However, following the spin-off of Unilever's spreads division into a separate company called Upfield (now rebranded as Flora Food Group) in 2018, manufacturing was shifted. In 2021, the Helsingborg factory was closed, and production for the Nordic market was moved to larger facilities in Kleve, Germany. Today, the brand is owned by Flora Food Group (formerly Upfield), which is controlled by the private equity firm KKR.
