Xenos is a well-known Dutch retail chain that specializes in an eclectic mix of home decor, kitchenware, furniture, and exotic food items. Founded in 1973 in 's-Hertogenbosch, the brand's name is derived from the Greek word for 'stranger' or 'guest,' reflecting its mission to bring unique and 'different' products from around the world to the Dutch market.

Originally established by the SHV Group, Xenos was later owned by Blokker Holding for several decades. During this period, it expanded significantly across the Netherlands and into Germany. However, in 2019, the brand underwent a significant transition when it was acquired by the Nieuwgeluk Group, a private investment firm. Following this acquisition, the chain focused its operations primarily on the Dutch market, closing or selling its international branches.

The products sold at Xenos are sourced globally, meaning they are manufactured in multiple countries depending on the specific item—ranging from textiles and ceramics to specialty snacks. The company maintains its headquarters and a large distribution center in Waalwijk, North Brabant, from which it supplies its approximately 150 stores throughout the Netherlands.
