Kohlsalbe nach Pater Häberle, also known as Pommade aux choux, is a traditional herbal remedy originating from the Alpine regions of Switzerland. It was popularized by Pater Thomas Häberle (1912–1997), a Benedictine monk and renowned natural healer known as the 'Kabisdoktor' (Cabbage Doctor). The ointment is based on the healing properties of cabbage leaves, long used in folk medicine for joint pain, inflammation, and respiratory issues.

Today, the product is still handcrafted in Switzerland using Swiss-grown cabbage. The manufacturing process involves a traditional 'enfleurage à chaud' method, where active ingredients from cabbage are extracted into high-quality fats and oils. While the original recipe is associated with monasteries like Disentis and Müstair, the distribution and commercial production are often handled by specialized herbal companies such as the Hildegard-Vertrieb or Hildegard Drogerie, maintaining the strict standards of the original monk's formulation.
