Parajumpers outerwear

Parajumpers is an Italian luxury outerwear brand founded in 2006. The brand was born from a collaboration between the designer Massimo Rossetti and the Italian company Ape & Partners SpA. The inspiration for the brand came from a chance encounter between Rossetti and a member of the 210th Rescue Squadron in Anchorage, Alaska. This elite military unit, known as the 'Parajumpers' (PJs), is trained for extreme rescues in the most hostile environments, which led to the brand's signature utilitarian aesthetic.

The products are characterized by highly technical components, such as durable nylon, removable down-filled linings, and the iconic yellow elastic strap with a hook inspired by parachute rigging. Manufacturing is primarily centered in Italy and select European workshops to maintain high quality and artisanal standards. The brand remains under the ownership of Ape & Partners SpA, a family-controlled Italian business based in Segusino, which oversees the global distribution and continued innovation of the label.
