Club Colombia Dorada is a premium lager produced by Bavaria Brewery, which is the largest and oldest brewery in Colombia. The brand was originally launched in 1949 as 'Club Sesenta' to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the brewery, before being renamed Club Colombia in 1962. It is widely recognized for its golden hue and has received international acclaim, including multiple gold medals from the Monde Selection in Belgium.
While the brand has deep Colombian roots, its ownership has transitioned through major global mergers. In 2005, the original owner, the Santo Domingo family, sold Bavaria Brewery to the British-South African conglomerate SABMiller. Subsequently, in 2016, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) acquired SABMiller, making the Belgian-based multinational the ultimate parent company of the Club Colombia brand. Today, the beer continues to be brewed at several facilities across Colombia, maintaining its status as a flagship national product under the management of Bavaria S.A.
