Lady's Choice is a household name in the condiment industry, particularly famous for its mayonnaise and sandwich spreads. The brand's history began in California in 1872, but it was officially introduced to the Philippine market in 1955 by the California Manufacturing Company (CMC). Since its introduction, it has become the leading mayonnaise brand in the Philippines and has a significant presence in Malaysia and Singapore.

The brand underwent a major ownership change in 2000 when Unilever acquired CMC through its global acquisition of Bestfoods. This transition integrated Lady's Choice into Unilever’s extensive global portfolio. Today, the product is primarily manufactured in the Philippines, specifically at the Unilever factory in Cavite, from where it is distributed locally and exported to neighboring Southeast Asian markets. The brand continues to focus on its identity as a provider of high-quality spreads made with real ingredients like eggs and healthy oils.
