Heidi chocolate

Heidi Chocolat is a premium confectionery brand established in 1994 in Romania. It was founded by the Swiss family Läderach, owners of the famous Confiseur Läderach AG, who brought their extensive Swiss chocolate-making expertise to Eastern Europe. The brand quickly gained international recognition for its high-quality ingredients and artistic approach to chocolate creation, specializing in hand-decorated bars and innovative flavor combinations.

In 2013, the brand was acquired by the Kex Confectionery group. Despite the change in ownership, the brand maintains its commitment to artisanal quality. Most of the production remains centered in its original facility near Bucharest, Romania, from where it exports products to over 50 countries worldwide. The company continues to operate under the name Heidi Chocolat S.A., maintaining its identity as a premium European chocolatier with Swiss heritage.
