Zwan is a historic Dutch brand specializing in processed meat products like hot dogs, luncheon meat, and cocktail sausages. Originally established in 1929, the brand was developed by the Van der Laan family's meat processing company in The Hague. Over the decades, it expanded from a local operation into a global brand exported to over 100 countries, particularly finding success in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The brand has a long and complex history of shared ownership and production with Unilever. While Zwanenberg Food Group acquired the Zwan brand name for international markets in 1996, Unilever retained ownership in specific regions like Belgium and Greece. However, in late 2024, a major deal was announced where Zwanenberg Food Group reached an agreement to acquire the remaining Zwan and Unox brand assets from Unilever. This consolidates the brand under the full ownership of the Zwanenberg Food Group, ensuring these iconic products remain in Dutch hands. Production primarily takes place at the Group's advanced facility in Oss, Netherlands.
