Henninger is a historic German beer brand with roots dating back to 1655 in Frankfurt am Main. Originally founded as a brew house by Eberhard Stein, it was later acquired and expanded by Heinrich Christian Henninger in 1873. The brand gained international fame in the mid-20th century, notably for being the first German brewery to introduce canned beer after World War II and for its association with the iconic Henninger Tower in Frankfurt.

While the original Henninger production facility in Frankfurt was closed in 2022 due to industrial consolidation, the beer continues to be produced in Germany at other brewing sites owned by its parent company. Today, Henninger is part of the Radeberger Gruppe, the largest brewery group in Germany. Radeberger itself is a subsidiary of the Dr. August Oetker KG, a diversified family-owned conglomerate headquartered in Bielefeld, Germany, which oversees a vast portfolio of food and beverage brands globally.
