Ahlgrens Bilar, often marketed as "Sweden's most bought car," is an iconic Swedish marshmallow confectionery. The product was created by accident in 1953 in Gävle, Sweden, when the Ahlgrens factory attempted to make marshmallows but produced small, car-shaped pieces instead. Due to their unique texture and taste, they became an instant success.

Today, the brand is owned by the Swedish confectionery company Cloetta AB. While the original factory was in Gävle, production was moved to Cloetta's modern facility in Ljungsbro, Sweden, in 2014. Cloetta itself is a major European confectionery player, headquartered in Stockholm, with a history dating back to 1862. The brand remains a staple of Swedish culture and is widely exported across the Nordic region and to specialty stores globally.
