Brussels Beer Project Delta IPA is the flagship beer of Brussels Beer Project (BBP), a pioneering craft brewery established in 2013 by Sébastien Morvan and Olivier de Brauwere. The product's identity is deeply rooted in its participatory origin; it was selected as the winner of a public vote among four prototypes (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta) by over 800 Brussels residents. This 'Saison IPA' is celebrated for its unique fusion of tropical Citra hops and traditional Belgian Saison yeast, creating a dry, spicy, and aromatic flavor profile.
While BBP initially operated as a 'gypsy brewer' producing its core range at Brouwerij Anders in Limburg, it has since transitioned to its own modern production facilities. Most manufacturing now takes place at their state-of-the-art 'Port Sud' brewery in Anderlecht, Brussels, which opened in 2021/2022 to centralize production and improve sustainability. The company is notably B Corp certified and remains an independent Belgian entity, owned by its founders and a large community of over 4,000 crowdfunders, maintaining its status as a leading voice in the contemporary European craft beer movement.
