Rocky biscuits are a classic British snack bar originally developed and launched by Fox's Biscuits in the late 20th century. The brand became a household name in the United Kingdom, particularly noted for its "Rocky Robin" advertising campaign in the 1990s. The biscuits consist of a crunchy shortcake base fully coated in chocolate, often available in varieties such as milk chocolate, caramel, and orange.
Historically, Fox's Biscuits was founded by the Fox family in Batley, West Yorkshire, in 1853. After various changes in corporate ownership, including periods under Northern Foods and the 2 Sisters Food Group, the brand was acquired in 2020 by CTH Invest, a Belgian holding group closely associated with the Italian confectionery giant Ferrero. Today, Rocky biscuits continue to be manufactured at Fox's long-standing production sites in Batley and Kirkham, England.
