Swoodoo is a specialized travel meta-search engine primarily serving the German-speaking market. Founded in 2006 in Munich, Germany, by Wolfgang Heigl, the platform revolutionized local travel booking by aggregating flight and hotel data to provide price comparisons.

In 2010, Swoodoo was acquired by the American travel powerhouse KAYAK, which sought to strengthen its presence in Europe. Following the acquisition of KAYAK by Booking Holdings (formerly The Priceline Group), Swoodoo became part of one of the world's largest digital travel conglomerates. While it remains a German-originated brand with headquarters in Munich, it operates as part of a global technological infrastructure based in the United States.
