Pringles Original

Pringles originated in the United States in the late 1960s, developed by Procter & Gamble as a solution to consumer complaints about broken and greasy potato chips. The brand was famously known for its unique hyperbolic paraboloid shape and its iconic cylindrical canister designed by Fredric Baur.

Today, Pringles is a global brand manufactured in several locations worldwide including Jackson, Tennessee (USA), Mechelen (Belgium), and various plants in Poland, China, and Malaysia to serve regional markets. In 2012, the brand was acquired by Kellogg's, which later renamed its snack-focused corporate entity to Kellanova following a strategic spin-off. In a landmark 2024 deal, Mars, Incorporated announced the acquisition of Kellanova, shifting the brand into one of the world's largest snacking portfolios.
