Augustiner-Bräu München Lagerbier Hell

Augustiner-Bräu is Munich's oldest independent brewery, with roots dating back to 1328 when it was founded by Augustinian monks. The Lagerbier Hell is its most iconic product, known for its mild, sparkling, and refreshing character.

Unlike many other large German beer brands, Augustiner does not belong to a multinational beverage conglomerate. Instead, it is owned by the Edith-Haberland-Wagner Foundation, which holds a 51% stake and uses the profits to fund cultural and social projects in Munich. The beer is brewed strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 using local ingredients and is produced exclusively at the historic brewery site in Munich, Bavaria.
