Brand Pilsener

Brand Pilsener is a premium Dutch pilsner with a deep history rooted in the village of Wijlre, Limburg. Originally founded as the 'Brand Bierbrouwerij', it holds the distinction of being the oldest brewery in the Netherlands, with records dating back to 1340. The Brand family took over the brewery in 1871, cementng its name and reputation for quality brewing.

Today, the production of Brand beer remains primarily in the Netherlands. While for many years it was brewed in the historic brewery in Wijlre, recent logistics and sustainability shifts within the parent company have moved some production to other Heineken-owned facilities in the Netherlands. Since 1989, the brand has been under the ownership of Heineken N.V., one of the world's largest brewing conglomerates, though it retains its distinct regional identity and 'Royal' status in the Dutch market.
