Pepsi Zero Sugar soft drink

Pepsi is one of the world's most iconic beverage brands, with its Zero Sugar variant prominently featuring football star Vinícius Júnior as a brand ambassador in recent global campaigns. Historically, Pepsi products for the Hungarian market were imported from neighboring countries such as Austria and the Czech Republic after local production ceased in 2015. However, following a significant 11 billion HUF investment program by Szentkirályi Magyarország, manufacturing was officially brought back to Hungary in 2024 and expanded in 2025 at the Szentkirály plant.

Today, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of PepsiCo, Inc., a global leader in convenient foods and beverages. In Hungary, the business is managed through a strategic joint venture between the Italian Pasquale family (owners of Mattoni 1873) and Hungarian businessman Levente Balogh. This partnership ensures that while the brand operates on a global scale, its local production and distribution contribute directly to the Hungarian economy.
