Topo Chico is a premium brand of sparkling mineral water that has been bottled at its source at the foot of the Cerro del Topo Chico mountain in Monterrey, Mexico, since 1895. The brand is deeply rooted in Mexican heritage, often associated with a legend involving an Aztec princess who was cured of an ailment by the miraculous waters of the spring.

For over a century, the brand was managed by Arca Continental, the second-largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America. In 2017, The Coca-Cola Company acquired the brand for $220 million to expand its sparkling water portfolio in the United States and international markets. Despite the change in ownership to a global American conglomerate, Topo Chico continues to be sourced and bottled exclusively in Monterrey, Mexico, maintaining its specific mineral composition and high level of carbonation that has earned it a cult following among bartenders and health-conscious consumers worldwide.
