Volla is a German brand of smartphones and mobile operating systems focused on user privacy and data independence. Founded through a successful crowdfunding campaign, the brand aims to provide an alternative to the surveillance-heavy mainstream mobile ecosystem.

The hardware is developed in close partnership with Gigaset Communications, allowing the brand to carry the 'Made in Germany' seal. This manufacturing partnership ensures high-quality assembly in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is rare in the smartphone industry dominated by Asian production. Volla devices run on Volla OS (based on the Android Open Source Project) but are notable for supporting alternative Linux-based operating systems like Ubuntu Touch, giving users complete control over their hardware and software.
