Pringles is an iconic American brand of stackable potato-based crisps originally developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in 1967. The brand was created as a solution to consumer complaints about broken and greasy chips, leading to the invention of their unique hyperbolic paraboloid shape and cylindrical container.

In 2012, Pringles was acquired by the Kellogg Company, which later rebranded its global snacking business as Kellanova in 2023. In late 2024, Mars, Incorporated announced a definitive agreement to acquire Kellanova, bringing Pringles under the ownership of one of the world's largest food conglomerates. While the brand originated in the United States, Pringles are now manufactured in multiple locations worldwide, including major facilities in the USA, Belgium, Poland, Malaysia, and China, to serve international markets.
