After Eight is a renowned brand of mint chocolate thin mints, iconic for their distinct green packaging and association with post-dinner hospitality. Originally launched in 1962 by Rowntree's, the brand was created by Brian Sollitt to cater to the British 'after-dinner chocolate' market. The chocolates are thin squares of dark chocolate filled with a creamy peppermint fondant.

Following Nestlé's acquisition of Rowntree's in 1988, After Eight became part of the Nestlé global portfolio. While the brand has deep British roots and continues to be manufactured at Nestlé's York factory in the United Kingdom, it is also produced in other international facilities to meet global demand. The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of Nestlé, headquartered in Switzerland, which continues to drive its reputation as a premium confectionery staple across more than 50 countries.
