Club-Mate is a caffeinated mate-extract tea beverage that has reached cult status, particularly within hacker culture and the electronic music scene in Europe. Originally developed in 1924 under the name 'Sekt-Bronte' by the Geola Beverages company in Dietenhofen, Germany, the recipe was later purchased in 1994 by the Brauerei Loscher.

Today, the beverage is exclusively produced at the Brauerei Loscher facilities in Münchsteinach, Bavaria. It is known for its relatively low sugar content compared to standard energy drinks and its use of yerba mate extract. The brand remains under the family-controlled ownership of Brauerei Loscher, maintaining its status as an independent German beverage staple with a global distribution network.
