Fisherman's Friend Original Menthol & Eucalyptus Lozenge

Fisherman's Friend is a world-renowned brand of strong menthol lozenges that dates back to 1865. The product was originally developed by James Lofthouse, a pharmacist in Fleetwood, England, to help deep-sea fishermen relieve respiratory problems caused by the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic. What began as a liquid became a lozenge for easier transport, retaining its distinctive paper-like packaging.

Today, the brand remains remarkably traditional. It is still manufactured in its town of origin, Fleetwood, by the family-owned company Lofthouse of Fleetwood Ltd. Unlike many global confectionery brands that have been acquired by large conglomerates, Fisherman's Friend has maintained its independence and is exported to over 100 countries worldwide, continuing to use many of the same ingredients and methods established over a century ago.
