Arabia Moomin Mug

Arabia is a prestigious Finnish ceramics brand, famous for its Moomin-themed tableware. The brand was founded in 1873 as a subsidiary of the Swedish company Rörstrand in the Arabia district of Helsinki. Over the decades, Arabia became a cornerstone of Finnish design, known for its durable and aesthetically pleasing porcelain.

While the brand's creative heart remains in Finland, most manufacturing was shifted to Thailand in 2016 following the closure of the historic Helsinki factory. The Moomin collection, based on the beloved characters by Tove Jansson, is one of its most popular lines globally. Today, the brand is owned by Fiskars Group, a major Finnish conglomerate that manages leading lifestyle brands including Iittala and Gerber.
