Traditionally associated with Unilever, the brand underwent a significant corporate shift in early 2026. Following a strategic restructuring of the global food market, Unilever merged its entire foods division with the American company McCormick & Company. As a result, Calvé now sits within the McCormick portfolio, while maintaining its deep cultural and production ties to the Netherlands. Manufacturing for the Dutch market remains concentrated in the Netherlands to preserve the specific taste profiles and heritage that local consumers favor, though the brand is produced across several European sites for international distribution.
