Zizin mineral water is a prominent Romanian brand known for its naturally still and carbonated waters. The source of Zizin water is located in the Ciucaș Mountains, specifically at the contact point with the Brașov Depression. This area is part of the Natura 2000 'Ciucaș' site, which ensures high environmental protection and minimal pollution risks.

The history of the water source dates back centuries, with the first chemical analysis of the spring recorded as early as 1818. Modern industrial production and bottling began significantly after the fall of communism, with the company Apemin Zizin being established in 1991. The brand was the first in Romania to introduce the 5-liter bottle format for still water in 1998, a significant innovation for the local market at the time.

Today, the brand remains under local Romanian ownership, managed by the Lazăr family. The company operates its main bottling facility in the village of Zizin, Brașov County. In recent years, they have invested heavily in a new, state-of-the-art production plant focused on energy efficiency, incorporating solar panels and energy recovery systems to maintain sustainable operations while meeting growing demand for the product across Romania.
