Fürst Bismarck is a historic German mineral water brand originating from the Bismarckquelle spring in Aumühle, near Hamburg. The spring was discovered in 1906 on the estate of the descendants of Otto von Bismarck, the first Chancellor of the German Empire. For decades, the brand was synonymous with premium mineral water in Northern Germany.
In 2017, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when Nestlé sold the Fürst Bismarck source and brand to the Hansa-Heemann group. Hansa-Heemann, a major German beverage producer, was subsequently acquired in 2021 by the Refresco Group, a global independent bottling company headquartered in the Netherlands. Today, Fürst Bismarck remains a regional staple, produced at its original source under the management of Refresco.
