Tyrrell's is a premium British snack brand that has become synonymous with hand-cooked quality. Founded in 2002 by potato farmer William Chase at Tyrrells Court Farm in Herefordshire, the brand was born from a desire to create value-added products directly from farm-grown potatoes. The brand is well-known for its distinctive black-and-white vintage photography on its packaging, emphasizing its British heritage.

Over the years, the company has undergone several high-profile ownership changes. After being sold by William Chase in 2008, it passed through private equity firms Langholm Capital and Investcorp before being acquired by Amplify Snack Brands in 2016. Shortly after, Amplify was purchased by The Hershey Company. In 2018, the brand found its current home with KP Snacks, which is the UK subsidiary of the German giant Intersnack Group.

Most of the product range, including these Sweet Chilli & Red Pepper potato crisps, continues to be produced in England. While there have been reports of specific factory closures affecting certain lines like vegetable crisps, the core potato crisp manufacturing remains focused in the United Kingdom to maintain its 'quintessentially English' brand identity.
