OnlyOffice

OnlyOffice is a comprehensive office suite developed by Ascensio System SIA, a Latvian software company founded in 2009. Initially launched as TeamLab, a project management and collaboration platform, it was rebranded to OnlyOffice in 2014, focusing on online document editing and office productivity. The suite includes applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF viewing and editing, form creation, and diagram visualization, natively supporting Office Open XML formats. Available as both a cloud service and self-hosted software, OnlyOffice offers deployment options for Linux and Windows servers, desktop clients for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and mobile apps for iOS and Android. The Community Edition is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License, while commercial editions are offered under a proprietary license. In August 2023, OnlyOffice restructured its ownership by establishing a holding company in Singapore, OnlyOffice Capital Group Pte. Ltd., which became the ultimate beneficiary of Ascensio System SIA. This move centralized the brand's global operations under a single entity. Subsidiaries include Ascensio System SIA in Latvia, Ascensio System Ltd. in the UK, and Ascensio Information Technologies (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. in China, reflecting OnlyOffice's international presence and commitment to serving diverse markets.
