Lutti is a renowned confectionery brand with origins dating back to 1889 when Confiserie Léopold was established in Belgium. Initially famous for its soft caramels, the brand expanded its product line to include a variety of candies, chocolates, and gums. In 1993, Lutti introduced the Arlequin candy, a sour confection that became a market leader in France. Over the years, Lutti has maintained a strong presence in the confectionery industry, known for its innovation and quality. In 2011, the German confectionery manufacturer Katjes International acquired Lutti, making it the sole shareholder. In 2018, Carambar & Co, a French confectionery company, took control of Lutti after receiving approval from the French Competition Authority. Today, Lutti continues to produce a wide range of sweets, including the popular Arlequin, Bubblizz, and Magnificat candies, with its manufacturing facilities located in Bondues, France. The brand's products are sold in over 50 countries worldwide, with exports representing a significant portion of its turnover.
