Philips vacuum cleaners are a staple in the small domestic appliance market, known for their innovation and energy efficiency. While the Philips brand is iconic for its Dutch heritage, the domestic appliance division underwent a major structural change recently to focus more on health technology.

Starting in 2021, the domestic appliances branch, which includes vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, and coffee makers, was sold to Hillhouse Capital. Despite the change in ownership, the products continue to carry the Philips brand name under a long-term licensing agreement, ensuring that the legacy of Dutch engineering and design remains central to the product's identity.
