The company is publicly traded, with approximately 25.8% of its shares held by the public. The remaining shares are owned by IBG Holdings LLC, a holding company that owns approximately 74.2% of Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. IBG Holdings LLC is primarily owned by Thomas Peterffy and his affiliates. The company's founder, Thomas Peterffy, serves as the chairman, while Milan Galik is the president and CEO. Interactive Brokers is ranked 473rd on the Fortune 500 list.
