Nederburg The Manor Shiraz is a premium red wine produced by Nederburg Wines, a renowned South African winery established in 1791. The wine is crafted from 100% Shiraz grapes sourced from vineyards in the Paarl, Durbanville, Philadelphia, and Stellenbosch regions of the Western Cape. After fermentation, it is matured in new, second, and third-fill oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, imparting complex flavors and aromas. The wine exhibits an abundance of prune, plum, and cherry notes, complemented by pencil shaving and oak spice aromas. On the palate, it offers flavors of ripe plum, cherry, and dark chocolate, with firm tannins and a lingering finish. Nederburg Wines was founded by Philippus Wolvaart in 1791 and has since become one of South Africa's most esteemed wine producers. In 2016, Nederburg was acquired by Distell Group Limited, a leading South African company specializing in the production and marketing of alcoholic beverages. Distell's portfolio includes a diverse range of brands across wines, spirits, and ciders, making it one of the largest producers of wine in Africa.
