GREE Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai, commonly known as GREE, is a Chinese home appliances manufacturer headquartered in Zhuhai, Guangdong province. Established in 1989, GREE has grown to become the world's largest air-conditioner manufacturer, offering a diverse range of products including household and commercial air conditioners, electric fans, water dispensers, heaters, rice cookers, air purifiers, water kettles, humidifiers, and induction cookers. The Chairwoman and President of GREE Electric is Dong Mingzhu, who joined the company in 1990 and has been instrumental in its growth and development. The GREE Air Conditioner Remote Control is designed for use with GREE air conditioning units, providing users with convenient control over their indoor climate. The remote control is manufactured primarily in China, with some models produced in other locations. It is compatible with various GREE air conditioner models and is designed to be user-friendly, offering features such as temperature adjustment, mode selection, and fan speed control. The remote control operates using infrared technology and requires two AAA batteries for power. It is important to note that the remote control is a replacement unit and may not offer all the exact functions or advanced features found on the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) remote. Additionally, the temperature display on this remote control operates exclusively in Celsius and cannot be changed to Fahrenheit. Batteries are not included with the remote control and should be purchased separately.
