Haglöfs is a Swedish outdoor equipment brand founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf in the village of Torsång, Dalarna. Initially, Haglöfs focused on producing durable backpacks for outdoor enthusiasts. Over the years, the company expanded its product range to include outdoor clothing, footwear, and hardware, becoming one of the leading suppliers of outdoor products globally. In 2010, Haglöfs was acquired by the Japanese sportswear brand ASICS Corporation, which owned the company until December 2023. On December 18, 2023, Hong Kong-based private equity firm LionRock Capital Limited acquired 100% of Haglöfs from ASICS, marking the firm's first investment in an outdoor brand. Today, Haglöfs operates in multiple countries, with products manufactured in various locations worldwide, reflecting its global presence and commitment to providing high-quality outdoor gear.
