Tuborg Grøn Pilsner beer

Tuborg Grøn, also known as Tuborg Green or Tuborg Pilsner, is one of Denmark's most iconic beverage brands. First introduced in 1880 by the Tuborg Brewery, it has become synonymous with Danish social culture and the 'Grøn Koncert' music festivals.

While the brand originated in the Hellerup district of Copenhagen, Tuborg merged with United Breweries in 1894 and was eventually acquired by the Carlsberg Group in 1970. Today, Tuborg is a global brand under the Carlsberg umbrella. Although manufacturing remains heavily centered in Denmark for the Nordics, the beer is produced globally under license in multiple countries to serve international markets. The ultimate owner, Carlsberg A/S, remains headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, maintaining the brand's strong national heritage.
