Autry is a premium sneaker brand established in Dallas, Texas, in 1982, known for its iconic '80s style and the hallmark American flag on its designs. The brand experienced a resurgence in 2019 when Italian entrepreneurs Marco Doro, Alberto Raengo, and Gino Zarelli revitalized it, expanding its offerings to include men's, women's, and children's footwear. In March 2024, Style Capital SGR, a Milan-based private equity firm, acquired a 50.2% stake in Autry International S.r.l., the company behind the Autry brand, for approximately 300 million euros. The Made in Italy Fund and the Doro family retained a 42% share, with the Made in Italy Fund reinvesting an 8% share. This acquisition is expected to significantly impact Autry's business, initiating a retail expansion both within Italy and internationally, including plans to open more than 20 monobrand stores in key luxury locations and further developing the digital channel. Autry's headquarters are located in Vigonovo, Italy.
