In 2000, Mahou acquired San Miguel, leading to the creation of the Mahou San Miguel group, the largest brewing company in Spain. Today, the brand maintains a strong international presence and continues to be owned and managed by the descendants of the founding family, preserving its legacy as an independent Spanish powerhouse in the global beverage industry.
