Mahou is a renowned Spanish beer brand with a rich history dating back to 1890. The brand offers a diverse range of beers, including Mahou Clásica, Mahou Cinco Estrellas, and Mahou Sin, each with unique characteristics and flavors. Mahou Clásica, introduced in 1890, is known for its golden color and balanced taste. Mahou Cinco Estrellas, relaunched in 1969, is celebrated for its golden hue and mild flavor. Mahou Sin, developed after 20 years of research, is a non-alcoholic beer that closely mimics the taste of traditional beer. The Mahou San Miguel Group, the ultimate owner of the Mahou brand, is a family-owned Spanish brewery and market leader in Spain, with nearly half of all beer sold. The company was founded in 2000 when Mahou, a centenary company, acquired San Miguel. In 2004, they incorporated the Canary Island brand Reina and in 2007 Cervezas Alhambra, consolidating the Spanish beer market through acquisitions. In addition, they have diversified their business with the purchase in 2011 of Solán de Cabras. They foster development through internationalisation, innovation and continuous improvement and are firmly committed to society. The Mahou brand is primarily manufactured in Spain, with production also taking place in other locations. Mahou beers are crafted using high-quality ingredients, including water, barley malt, maize, and hops, ensuring a premium taste that has been appreciated by beer enthusiasts for over a century.
